This is significantly higher than sand or water! Up to 80% of the sun’s UV rays can also pass through clouds, meaning protection is necessary even when it’s overcast. Prevent sun damage, premature aging, and even sunburns with daily use of SPF 30+ during this winter season, and every season. Outside of SPF, Retinoids are the single-most researched products for anti-aging. Many of my patients ask me about retinoids and @barefaced formulated this product to eliminate confusion and soothe irritation when it comes the retinol spectrum. The active ingredient is actually Retinaldehyde, which is 20x stronger than all retinols, but more tolerated than prescription tretinoin.
I love this product because it hits the perfect sweet spot. The best way to introduce it into your regimen to improve tolerability is by using the “Rule of 3s”:
-first month: use every 3rd night
-second month: use every other night
-third month: use nightly
RTS is made with a time-released encapsulation, so it is working over time throughout the night. This decreases the irritation a lot of patients experience with prescription tretinoin.
